Christmas prize won by Voluntary Action Rutland!

Rutland Radio pick up the Christmas Tree prize from Rutland Garden Centre in Ashwell.JPG

We are absolutely delighted that our 'Deck the Halls' competition, run in conjunction with Rutland Radio was won by the very deserving Voluntary Action Rutland.

The competition encouraged listeners to send in a 'sad selfie' and explain why they'd like to win an amazing prize from Rutland Garden Centre in Ashwell. The prize, worth over £130, included a 6ft Nordman Fir Christmas tree, an array of gorgeous tree decorations, along with a tree base and three large packs of lights to bring festive cheer to an office.

It's wonderful that the tree and all the decorations went to such a great organisation as Voluntary Action Rutland supports and promotes local voluntary action by providing advice, information, support, training and consultation.

Everyone at Rutland Garden Centre hopes that all of your staff, volunteers and members enjoy the tree this year, and then the decorations and lights will bring joy for many years to come!
